About

My Sister’s Art™ is currently featuring the architectural green jewelry of Margaret Nowak Dobos. As an architect and designer for the past 25 years she has always had an interest in the avant-garde. The materials used are considered common and urban. Repurposed and recycled, they are transformed into wearable art; dedicated to sustainable design, with an aesthetic interest in architectural form. Along with her formal background in architecture this interest in a liberal, experimental aesthetic is evident in her work with aluminum and rubber – her jewelry is progressive both materially and in form, and like all of the pieces in the My Sister’s Art™ collection her style straddles the line between timelessness and contemporary relevance. Her designs are featured in galleries, museum stores, and fine boutiques in the Continental US and abroad.

In 2009 Margaret Nowak Dobos commissioned her sister to design rubber jewelry for her private collection. Margaret served as a muse, photographer, graphic designer, stylist, and creative director; crafting the company My Sister’s Art™ with the vision of bringing to market extraordinary rubber designs.

In 2010, with incredible delight, My Sister's Art™ was contacted by the New York stylist Karl Templer with a request for jewelry for an upcoming photo shoot with world famous photographer Steven Meisel. In August of 2010, My Sister’s Art™ appeared on the Cover of Vogue Italia and in the Editorial Spread with model Kristen McNamara. My Sister's Art™ continues to bring the work of extraordinary female artists and designers to markets worldwide.

Available in Showrooms across the county. Please contact My Sister’s Art™ for their current schedule.
